Launching of Scientific Stories
I’m so excited to launch my science communication platform titled “Scientific Stories” or “سوالف علمية” (in Arabic) which allows the public to learn about the awesome research being done around the world but with more focus on the Arabian Gulf region. Scientific Stories allows its audience to dive into the sea of knowledge that this world has to offer bringing to the surface important issues and/or topics that relate directly to our human existence in one way or another. Through this platform, I virtually host scientists from across different disciplines creating a space that communicates and disseminate the results of research being done regionally and globally. Some episodes will have a different flavour to the usual science being presented and hence will be dedicated to share success stories especially when it comes to environmental conservation.
The episodes on Scientific Stories which can be accessed through my YouTube channel or IGTV are presented in English and/or Arabic whereby an attempt is currently being made to translate the episodes into both languages via providing subtitles. I am deeply grateful to all the experts who answer my calls to get an episode recorded thereby sharing their time and knowledge. I created this platform as I felt that there is a lack of platforms that are dedicated towards communicating science to the public especially here in the Arab region. In order to progress in life, we must never stop questioning.
